Flocknote

One of the best ways to keep in touch with St. Ed’s at all times, and especially in these difficult times, is via Flocknote.  Flocknote is an e-mail and text platform being used by St. Ed’s, the Diocese of Gary and many other parishes.  You can sign-up via your cell phone by texting stedlowell to 84576 ; by using a web browser and going to stedwardlowell.flocknote.com or using the following form:

Notice: In accord with the bishops of the State of Indiana, & in compliance with the strict recommendations & requirements of the Center for Disease Control & the Federal Government to attempt to reduce the spread of the Corona virus, all public Masses & all Lenten Devotions (Wednesday Adoration & Friday Stations of the Cross) are CANCELLED effective March 18, 2020 until further notice. Bishop McClory’s dispensation from the obligation to attend Sunday (weekend) Mass will thus also continue until further notice.

Additionally, please note the following:

*The Parish Office will be open during the week from 10am until 2pm, closed on weekends.

*If you need something & you think we can help please call or e-mail us.

*The Food Pantry will be open on Thursdays but food will be brought to the client’s cars. The public may not enter the Pantry building.

*The Church will be open for private prayer daily from 1pm to 7pm but with some restrictions.  This is for private prayer only.  If groups gather, the Church will have to be closed.  If you come to Church & there is already someone present please sit a good distance apart. We are restricted to 10 people in Church at a time, well spread out.

*There will be a reduced content bulletin available every week.  You may stop in the office to pick up a copy or, better, add yourself to the “Weekly Bulletins” Flocknote Group & we’ll e-mail you a copy. There are Flocknote information sheets in the vestibule with easy instructions on how to sign up if you have not already done so.
