Parish & Finance Councils Meeting

Joint parish & finance council meeting on Thursday, March 14 at 7 pm in the Ministry Center (enter through the back door). We have a number of items to discuss – as well as anything you may wish to add. Please mark your calendars and plan to attend.

Ash Wednesday Masses

The Masses for Ash Wednesday will be at 7am and 12pm & bilingual at 7pm on March 6.  Ash Wednesday & Good Friday are obligatory days of fasting & abstinence.  The norms on fasting are obligatory from age 18 until age 59. When fasting, a person is permitted to eat one full meal, as well as two smaller meals that together are not equal to a full meal. The norms concerning abstinence from meat are binding upon members of the Church from age 14 onwards.

Small Group Faith Sharing

We will be hosting a “Small Faith Sharing Group Callout” on Wednesday, February 20, at 6:30 pm at Mi Ranchito restaurant. Our first step will be to see who has a particular idea for a small group & who is willing to serve as a facilitator or facilitators. We will gather to hear your ideas, share ours, put our heads together, & see where we go from here. We would like to form at least 3 small faith sharing groups this year. If you can make it to the callout, please contact Fr. Rick at 696-7307 or by email at – or Glenda Faitak at 730-4048 or by email at no later than Wednesday, February 13th so we know how many to expect.
