The Masses for Ash Wednesday will be at 7am and 12pm & bilingual at 7pm on March 6. Ash Wednesday & Good Friday are obligatory days of fasting & abstinence. The norms on fasting are obligatory from age 18 until age 59. When fasting, a person is permitted to eat one full meal, as well as two smaller meals that together are not equal to a full meal. The norms concerning abstinence from meat are binding upon members of the Church from age 14 onwards.

St. Ed’s Advent Reconciliation Service is Thursday, December 13 at 7pm. There’s no better way to prepare for our celebration of Christ’s birth at Christmas.

All Saints Day is a Holy Day of Obligation. Mass will be Wednesday, October 31 at 5pm & Thursday, November 1 at 8am & 7pm (bilingual). All Souls Day is not a Holy Day of Obligation with Mass on Friday at 8am in English & 7pm in Spanish.
Calendar meeting is scheduled for Thursday, August 2 at 7pm in the ministry center. A representative from each parish group that schedules yearly activities is asked to attend this meeting.
Our next parish blood drive will be Tuesday, July 17 from 3pm-7pm in the school gym. Looking for volunteers to help work the blood drive (help pass out refreshments, & sign-in donors at registration). Sign-ups will be before & after masses the weekend of July 7-8 & 14-15. We are in need of various supplies for our upcoming Vacation Bible School which will take place the week June 18th. There will be Donation Request Forms available in the vestibule. If you’d like to help out, pick up a form and return your items either to the vestibule of the church or the church office prior to Wednesday, June 13th. As always… thank you for your generosity!!
Fr. Rick will be at the annual Diocesan priest retreat from June 11-15. Fr. Bill Stenzel will celebrate daily Mass. Please note that the Wednesday Mass will be at 8 am instead of 5 pm.
