Our next parish blood drive will be Tuesday, July 17 from 3pm-7pm in the school gym. Looking for volunteers to help work the blood drive (help pass out refreshments, & sign-in donors at registration). Sign-ups will be before & after masses the weekend of July 7-8 & 14-15. Join us in celebrating Fr. Rick’s 10th Ordination anniversary. We will be having cake in the school gym after all masses next weekend June 16 & 17.
We are in need of various supplies for our upcoming Vacation Bible School which will take place the week June 18th. There will be Donation Request Forms available in the vestibule. If you’d like to help out, pick up a form and return your items either to the vestibule of the church or the church office prior to Wednesday, June 13th. As always… thank you for your generosity!!
Fr. Rick will be at the annual Diocesan priest retreat from June 11-15. Fr. Bill Stenzel will celebrate daily Mass. Please note that the Wednesday Mass will be at 8 am instead of 5 pm.
Drop offs will be May 29th – June 5th from 7am-4pm This sale is a great success every year due to your generous donations of time & treasure. Help is needed during the drop off period as well as days of the sale. Contact June Leader at (219) 476-6735.

Memorial day Mass at St. Edward Cemetery (Burr Street) will be on Monday, May 28 at 9am. Bring your lawn chairs. In case of rain, Mass will be celebrated in church.
A special graduation Mass for all high school & college graduates will be celebrated on May 27 at 8am. Graduates, please arrive by 7:45am to lineup to process in together. Please wear your cap and gown.

The Masses for Ash Wednesday will be at 7am and 12pm & bilingual at 7pm on February 14. Ash Wednesday and Good Friday are obligatory days of fasting and abstinence. The norms on fasting are obligatory from age 18 until age 59. When fasting, a person is permitted to eat one full meal, as well as two smaller meals that together are not equal to a full meal. The norms concerning abstinence from meat are binding upon members of the Church from age 14 onwards.
Knights of Columbus will be serving up their famous Fish Fry Dinner at our parish as a benefit for Savior of the World Orphanage on February 9 from 4-7pm. Drinks & desserts available. Everyone welcome for food, fellowship & fun. Cost: Adults $12 Seniors $10 Kids $5 (12 & under).
The Blessing of Throats invoking the prayers of St. Blaise will follow the Masses on February 3 & 4.
