We’ve formed a new “Contemporary Choir” which will sing and play at the 11:00 a.m. Mass on Sundays. If you’d like to join in on a weekly rehearsal, contact Fr. Rick.
Tot Spot Preschool will be moving to a different location.
There will be no weekday Masses from June 12 through June 16. Fr. Rick will be at the annual Diocese of Gary priest retreat.
A special graduation Mass for all high school & college graduates will be celebrated on June 11 at 8am Mass. Graduates, feel free to wear your graduation robes/gowns if you still have them. There will be a coffee/donut/juice reception outside the main entrance/vestibule of the church after Mass.

Adoration followed by Benediction is held every 1st Friday of the month here at St. Edward Church. The hours for Adoration will begin after World Day of Prayer on March 3. Benediction follows at 6:15 pm.
The Masses for Ash Wednesday will be at 7am and 12pm & bilingual at 7pm on March 1. Ash Wednesday and Good Friday are obligatory days of fasting and abstinence. The norms on fasting are obligatory from age 18 until age 59. When fasting, a person is permitted to eat one full meal, as well as two smaller meals that together are not equal to a full meal. The norms concerning abstinence from meat are binding upon members of the Church from age 14 onwards.
