St. Ed’s Advent Reconciliation Service is Thursday, December 21 at 7pm. There’s no better way to prepare for our celebration of Christ’s birth at Christmas.

SVDP will now be having their meetings every 2nd Wednesday of the month at 9:30 am in the Food Pantry building. Next meeting is Wednesday October 11. Everyone welcome to attend.

The Daughters of Isabella will celebrate Right to Life with fresh cut roses being sold as a symbol of love for unborn children.
A Parish picnic is being planned for September 16 & 17. On Saturday, the Car Cruise-In runs from 11 am—3pm. Sunday picnic will be noon-3pm. Bingo tent, Trivia tourney, & lots of games & fun activities especially for the kids!! Come and Enjoy a Fun Family Weekend at the Parish!
Altar & Rosary members will be selling mums on September 9 & 10.
Clean shoes are being collected for the Sojourner Truth House. There will be a marked box in the vestibule until October 22.
We are resurrecting our Hospitality Committee. Stop by the tables in the front of the church after masses this weekend, share a treat & hear our ideas. We will have sign up sheets for anyone interested in joining & welcome hearing any of your ideas. Let’s get to know one another.
An inquiry session for RCIA (Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) classes will be held on Monday, September 11 at 7pm in the Ministry center for anyone interested in becoming Catholic or need to complete a sacrament. We meet once a week at 7pm on Mondays.
Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary is a Holy Day of Obligation. Masses are Monday, August 14 (Vigil) at 7 pm, Tuesday, August 15 at 8 am, & 7 pm (Bilingual).
Bishop Hying will be the celebrant of the Saturday, August 12 Mass at 5pm as he formally installs Fr. Rick as Pastor of our parish. There will be a meal served in the gym immediately following Mass. All are welcome to join in the celebration, attend the Mass, and the meal.
