After more than 35 years of dedicated service to our parish, Cathy Wesselhoft has decided to retire. You might not recognize her name, but you've definitely heard her, as Cathy has been the pianist at four masses every weekend for countless years. Through her music, she has celebrated with us at weddings, baptisms and holidays, and comforted us in our time of sorrow at funeral masses. This is our opportunity to say “Thank You” for all she has done for our parish family. We are planning a short concert after the 5:00 PM Mass on Saturday, May 20. We have invited choir members from years gone by, so this will also be a great opportunity to catch up with some former parishioners. Refreshments will be served in the gym following the concert. Cathy has given so much to our parish, now it's time for us to give her the recognition she so truly deserves and to thank her for her many years of service to our parish family. We will have a memory book there for you to write a short message to her expressing your thoughts. Her music has blessed us all with Amazing Grace; in our trials and tribulations it has helped us to Be Not Afraid; it has taken all of our voices and let us join in singing Joy To The World with the Angels We Have Heard On High; and it's given us Ten Thousand Reasons to celebrate today with Cathy. Your Words Are Spirit and Life, Lord, and Your Grace Is Enough, and this grateful parish family Gives Thanks to God for the 35 plus years of Cathy celebrating with us.
